This summer we have a number of woodworking projects that we would like help with. Here are the various ways you could help:

Box Hockey
We would like to add two box hockey games for campers to play on during free time. These games could either be built and dropped off at the camp, or parts cut so campers could assemble them during Individual Interest programming.
Cornhole
Cornhole is a fun game that would be great for campers to play up by the lodge or down by the beach. 1 sheet of plywood (or OSB) could produce four of these! This is a great one for campers to assemble if material is precut. The hole can be either cut by a CNC router or a jigsaw.
Muskoka Chair
We would love to add a number of Muskoka Chairs around our site – the complexity of the chairs make it more realistic to have someone make it. The design we made is just one option – there are kits and Muskoka Chairs that can be purchased already made. Ideally we will add chairs every year providing opportunities for people to be able to rest and enjoy the forest and lake views.
Picnic Tables
A number of years ago Trinity United Church in Huntsville donated a picnic table that their youth group made. This design a former camper made was very sturdy and is regularly used up by our lodge. We’d love to replace some of our older picnic tables as each campsite uses them.
Tent Platforms
Our Build your Bunk campaign is a major reinvestment in our facilities. Your support will help provide campers with a great summer experience!
