Our campers are assigned to a unit of up to 7 campers. Each unit has at least 2 staff assigned to it, so there is 1 staff member for every 3 campers. In addition to this we have a full staff of nearly 40 for up to 100 campers.
More than 75% of our staff members have been campers at Big Canoe and most of them have participated in our Outdoor Skills and Leaders-In-Training programs.
